The Account Executive is responsible for supporting work as it moves among and between the entire client team (including account services, creative, production and public relations) in the delivery of communications and advertising campaigns and projects to clients. This position is primarily focused on the execution of client projects and established plans with efficiency and effectiveness. The Account Executive is essential in tracking and reporting project progress and facilitating communication across all functions within the team.
The key roles and tasks of the Account Executive include:
Develops project schedules, write work order, project research, conduct research as required, draft estimates for review by Senior Account Executive , Account Supervisor or Group Account Lead, client communication, interact with client on project execution matters, and understand the client, and invoice the client with guidance from the Account Supervisor or Group Account Lead.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College Diploma or University Degree with a specialization in marketing, public relations, communications or a related field.
0-3 years of business or agency experience in advertising, marketing or communications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
A foundation understanding of the communications and marketing needs of the agricultural industry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability and desire to work within and contribute towards a team approach.
Ability to liaise and network effectively with current clients.
