AdFarm’s client list includes many of North America’s agribusiness leaders. The firm has people located throughout North America and offices in six strong agricultural communities - Calgary, Fargo, Guelph, Kansas City, St. Louis and Sacramento.
Intern Job Description:
The primary role of this position will be to provide support to AdFarm in a variety of functions. The assignments will cover, but not be limited to the following:
Assist the assigned supervisor to coordinate, administer and organize AdFarm and/or client events, projects and activities including contact reports, filing, data entry, PPT presentations, social media monitoring, media vendor summaries, general and specific topic research, build a new business contact database, new business call confirmations.
The successful candidate will be enrolled in a communications/agribusiness or marketing program at the college or university level. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess the following:
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Knowledge in public relations, media and event communications
· Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs Must understand web and social media based communications activities
