Digital Project Manager
The Digital Project Manager’s role is to oversee individual projects from conception to completion while demonstrating originality, initiative and the ability to manage all aspects of client engagement including status reports, project plans, and oversight of internal and external team members. Integral to the position is the ability to communicate with team members and clients to manage business and technical requirements, changes to project scope and project schedules.
Development and management of project budgets and timelines to meet agency and client requirements
Identify, assemble and schedule resource needs, cross-functional teams and assign individual responsibilities
Excellent verbal and written skills are critical to ensure all aspects of the project status are effectively communicated both to the internal team as well as the client.
Managing change in project direction, scope, costs and timing while minimizing impact on profitability
Requires both administrative and technical knowledge and frequent interaction with employees and customers
Assign work and provide direction with regard to the timeliness and completion of project objectives
Provide quality control through all aspects of project
Documentation of project details, client communication and internal feedback/time
Participate in client discovery meetings and development of project estimates
Participate in operational tasks including client reporting, billing, staffing, and utilization management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Detail oriented, extremely organized, and possesses excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
Strong ability to multi-task, manage and prioritize many projects under a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment
High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Fundamental knowledge of all things web including user experience, web design, and web development
Enthusiasm and willingness to embrace new technology and understand their relevance to communication solutions
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively.
Knowledge and familiarity with web technologies including social media
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
Ability to manage many projects and budgets while adhering to strict deadlines
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to successfully develop and lead team members
Ability to give and receive critical feedback and provide revisions accordingly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of experience in interactive project management; technical experience preferred
Prior experience in marketing/communications preferred; client facing experience required
