AdFarm is a marketing and communications firm 100% dedicated to agriculture, food and rural development. Our clients include many of North America's top agribusiness leaders. And right now, we need a full-time Designer in our St. Louis office.

The Designer is responsible for art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications mediums such as books, magazines, newspapers, Internet websites, mobile, display and packaging.

To become an AdFarmer, the candidate will have:

• Post-secondary qualification in Fine Arts, Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 - 5 years experience in the graphic design industry.
• Experience or training in the use of CS3/CS4 including Flash.
• A portfolio of at least three comprehensive design projects involving published work.
• Demonstrated passion for and appreciation of advertising, design and interest in agriculture.
• Strong design and production skills.
• Ability to take designs through to final art.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent skills in typography.
• Excellent ability to listen, understand and interpret clients requirements.
• Ability to think conceptually and develop original ideas and solutions.
• Ability to work productively with limited supervision.

The ideal AdFarmer will have the ability to be highly organized, motivated, take direction, have excellent project management and time management skills. And last but not least, we need someone who works and plays well with others, with an ability and desire to work within a team and contribute towards one.
