SACRAMENTO, Calif. - (March 24, 2011) AdFarm has hired Brandon Souza, an individual with a strong background in California agriculture and communications, to enhance the company's credentials in its Sacramento office. He joins AdFarm from his previous role in sales support and social media coordination for AgCareers.com.

Kathryn Pinke, AdFarm strategic lead, notes that he offers a great fit to the company's growing workplace in California.

"Brandon's enthusiasm for California's food and farming along with his communications expertise is really what we've been looking for at AdFarm Sacramento," says Pinke. While at AgCareers.com Souza first served in the capacity of account management, leading business development opportunities in seven West Coast states and British Columbia. Most recently Souza returned from a five-month relocation in Guelph, Ontario to support nationwide Canadian business development and to launch AgCareers.com's social media platform.

Prior to joining AgCareers.com, Souza was employed with the California Farm Bureau Federation in the organization's communication/news division - working specifically for CFBF's weekly television show and bimonthly magazine, California Country.

Originally from Hanford, Souza grew up on his family's walnut and corn farming operation. He received an undergraduate degree in agricultural business with a minor in agricultural communications from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2008.
