Another Communications Expert Joins The AdFarm Canada Team

CALGARY, AB - (Jan. 20, 2011) As AdFarm expands its client work in Canada, the company announces the hiring of Teresa Falk. Teresa's roles will involve both account management and public relations.

Teresa's interests in social media, event management and writing are skills that are essential to AdFarm's PR team. Her writing skills have been put to the test, with published works in such magazines as Seed World, Germination, Spud Smart, CAAR's Communicator, Manitoba Farm Voice, Grainews and the Manitoba Co-Operator. She joins AdFarm from her previous position in communications with Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council (MRAC).

MRAC is a private not-for-profit corporation that administers Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada funds for innovative agricultural projects. Her role with the organization involved elements of media relations, writing, event planning, photography and design.

"Teresa has made a considerable dent into the social media landscape and her industry blog is known to many. She's a great hire. Her drive and enthusiasm will make her a good fit at AdFarm," notes Wendy Ell, Director of Public Relations at AdFarm Canada. Teresa comes to AdFarm with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Winnipeg.  She grew up on a mixed farm near Snowflake, Manitoba and is a self-proclaimed adventurist. She has shown herself to be strong and resourceful, whether she's back-packing through Europe or lending a helping hand on the family farm.
